Performance

Control Arm Bushings

• Maintains better alignment while cornering, stopping, and hard launching than O.E.M. rubber and lasts much longer
• Full floating, non-binding performance polyurethane

A must for both lowered and raised vehicles and are especially important when ride height is altered or greater suspension load is required. For the front-better caster and camber suspension alignment is maintained during hard driving resulting from the correct durometer firmness. For the rear-the rear control arm bushings are a must for controlling wheel hop on rear wheel drive vehicles and increasing cornering control. Many sets come complete with plated outer metal shells.

Leaf Spring Bushings

• Improves handling, vehicle control, and weight transfer
• Allows the leaf spring system to function more effectively
• Performance polyurethane lasts much longer than O.E.M. rubber

Be in control- when maneuvering through turns, during standing start accelerations, braking, and over bumps. For high-performance applications, the combination of heavy duty/performance leaf springs and Energy's polyurethane spring bushings deliver maximum benefit. These bushings also improve light-duty leaf spring systems, adding a higher degree of performance and durability. In either situation, you'll feel the difference in positive handling and control.

Strut Rod Bushings

• Helps reduce common front wheel "Roll-Under" on RWD vehicles
• Reduces wheel hop on FWD vehicles
• A must to use with performance tires

Energy's polyurethane bushings also help reduce loss of steering control. Using performance tires with soft O.E.M. rubber strut bushings causes the steering axis to slant (caster) to change, which causes premature failure of the vehicle's lower control arm bushings. While braking, they keep the front wheels and lower arm control arm assembly from literally rolling under the car.
